Message from the CEO - July 2025 Newsletter

Dear Friends of the New Jersey YMCA Alliance,

As I reflect on the past few months, I continue to be inspired by the passion, dedication, and impact of YMCA staff and volunteers across New Jersey YMCAs. Every day, their work brings people together, strengthens communities, and creates a sense of belonging that is truly remarkable.

Summer is here — one of the most exciting and vibrant times of year at the Y. Across the state, our YMCAs are offering a wide range of enriching day and overnight camp experiences for youth. These programs are more than just fun — they provide children with invaluable opportunities to grow, learn, and build lifelong memories.

This spring, the Alliance has been actively engaged in advocacy efforts, including the meaningful involvement of middle and high school students in our Youth and Government program. At the same time, our local Ys have continued outstanding work in advancing their essential community impact efforts.
